More About Us

Pine Tar has been a venue for events like weddings and baby showers numerous times. Until now, (2020) Pine Tar has only been used as a venue by close family and friends of the owner. However, after many people insisted we turn this beautiful one of a kind location into a venue for all, we've officially decided to do so and we hope to have you as one of our first bookings.

At Pine Tar there are several reception and ceremony options to accommodate up to 150 people during any time of year. House up to 22 people of your choosing on site.
A large pavilion reception area is nestled between a quaint historic chapel and a cabin overlooking the picturesque lake.
The chapel was constructed from the ruins of several historic homes located in the nearby pine fields. One of these homes was rumored to be where Caroline Miller wrote Lamb in His Bosom, a story of two young newlyweds. This is the perfect wedding locale to begin the next step in your journey through a life filled with love.
